War: An Unnecessary Evil

Hi! Welcome back to my blog! This week, I am going to be talking about the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. As you know, it has been going on for 1.5 years, and it shows no sign of stopping. At first, when I heard about it, I thought it would end quickly. However, nothing has changed since. Russia attacks, Ukraine defends. It’s a continuous cycle over and over again.

The thing that saddens me is the loss of innocent human lives. People are sacrificing everything they have. Soldiers are willing to die to protect their country. They are willing to sacrifice their land and their homes. There is no limit to this sacrifice.

I personally find that war harms millions of people and forces them to leave their home country. It destroys cities and families. I find that completely unnecessary and unreasonable. Personally, I think that this war has been going on for way too long, and for the wrong reasons. If you would like to contribute in any way, there are organisations working tirelessly around the clock to help people affected by the war.

I really hope the war ends soon but there is no way to predict the future and I like to remember something that my mom tells me. She tells me that everything happens for a reason in life. No matter what, everything that happens leads us to our future. I hope all of you remember that everything happens for a reason, and no matter what, even in the worst of times, things will get better in the future.
